Does art exist beyond our physical spaces, beyond our need for resources, and beyond our need for a static manifestation of an idea? I find myself interested in harnessing the subconscious and expressing the more ephemeral nature of existence, and when necessary, in physical format. Much of my work utilizes the documentation of movements and interactions, whether they be between materials, environments, subjects or in fact, just between our selves and each other. Interaction in a very literal sense, often times captured by a camera rather than created by the direct application of hand or eye. The celebration and admission of a flow, time, and reaction, that is beyond myself, but requires my existence as a small step in a vast sequence of events.
