Alexandria Pooré

As an artist I am inspired by street art and graffiti, and drawn to surrealist figures and bright color palettes. During my undergraduate studies I focused mainly on ceramic sculpture and painting. In exploring the two mediums I found myself revisiting a similar figure in several of my compositions. I haven’t come to a definitive answer as to who this figure is, but have toyed with the possibility that it is a version of a self portrait, a manifestation of someone in my future or a vision of someone from my past.
