I’m new to everything crypto and I’m enjoying exploring the great potential.
I recently minted my first piece on Rarible. I aim to develop it into a series dedicated to different aspects of the life and work of Alan Turing.
I create by combining both analogue and digital methods and often embrace vivid colours and allegory specific to the subject matter.
I’ll aim to include unlock links to a hi-res file for download with each purchase, I’ll also be donating a proportion from primary sales to charities that relate to each of my works in some way. For example, to honour Turing’s struggle against oppression and celebrate his success in the field of computer science 20% of primary sales will be donated to two charities:
- 10% in £ to All Out – fights LGBT+ persecution globally – https://allout.org/en/what-all-out
- 10% in £ to The Turing Trust – supports education in sub-saharan Africa by reusing computers and improving teacher pedagogy – https://turingtrust.co.uk/about/

About Alan Turing
“We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.” – Alan Turing
Computer pioneer, morphogenesis pioneer, wartime codebreaker, Turing Test inventor, Olympic-standard marathon runner. Genius.
In his short life he had such an impact that his work around artificial intelligence and how patterns are formed in nature are still relevant today, almost 60 years later. Even in death his name was the catalyst that brought justice to tens of thousands of gay men in the UK through Turing’s Law. His death was tragic, driven to suicide through persecution and criminalisation for being gay, but one that should be remembered and a life celebrated.
